Greeting from the Principal:

July 2, 2019
Dear Students and Parents,
As principal of Benson High School, I am honored to have the opportunity to work with both students/parents and Benson's fine staff! My hope is that these past two months have been relaxing and productive for you. It is my sincere wish that you have a successful and pleasant year. Classes will commence on Thursday, July 25, at 8:00 a.m. with all students reporting to 1st hour class to receive important opening school day information.

My vision for Benson is that everyone will work together toward common goals to make this the best high school it can be. I am sure parents also want Benson to be a school that functions at a high level and is safe and secure. Parents and educators need to work in concert for this vision to be possible.

We ask that all students and parents begin “The Back to School Days” process in the front office. Parking is available in the east campus parking lot.  Back to School Days will occur in the front office.  Our District Health Aide, Counselor, Registrar, Office Staff and Administration will be available:

It is the desire of the high school administrative team, counselors, faculty, staff and myself, that this year be an excellent one for you. If you need to meet with a guidance counselor, assistant principal or myself, please do not hesitate to contact us. We suggest that parents call the school first to schedule appointments before coming in so that you will not experience delays.

We are proud to offer an academically comprehensive high school with many opportunities that support a personalized, student-centered approach to learning. It is wonderful being part of a community that values and supports our educational initiatives that enhances our students’ achievements.

I hope the remainder of your summer break is restful and enjoyable. See you on the first day of school if not sooner!
